The BOP - Bologna Prize for the Best Children’s Publishers of the Year is awarded annually to highlight excellent publishing houses from all over the world.
Here's the 2024 shortlist of the children’s publishing houses most recommended in each of the six geographical areas by publishers, publishers' associations and institutions devoted to reading promotion worldwide. Now it is the turn of BCBF exhibitors to vote: in their reserved area they will find the form to choose the #boppist 2024. They have until Wednesday 20 March 2024.
The announcement of the winners will be held during BCBF 8-11 April 2024.

A beautiful story about a meeting of native cultures
Ialorixá and Pajé is a true story about beautiful memories that Mãe Stella de Oxóssi experienced when she was a young nurse. The story narrates a meeting between Mãe Stella and a Shaman, and the exchange of knowledge about plants, medicinal herbs, roots, seeds, leaves and rituals between a person born in Afro-Brazilian culture and another in indigenous culture.
