"Walter's Travels" tells the journey of Walter, 28, black, rich, Bahian, doctor at the end of his residency in Salvador. Shocked by the death of a patient, he interrupts his work for six months and travels. Delivered at random, it goes to two other coastal Brazilian capitals. In Recife, there is great love. In Florianópolis, he spends a lot of time alone, at home or on long walks. After three months, he begins to form relationships with some people, including a pregnant neighbor with HIV and part of his mother's family, who are of German descent. During his travels, Walter shares chronic hallucinations,
