In 2015, I came face to face with cancer and didn't understand anything. Like this? Isn't cancer that serious disease that only happens to others? I was waiting for a boyfriend, a new car and I get this? Wrong address for sure! But it was for me, yes. And after this frightening and very unexpected encounter, I began to understand that nothing would be the same again.
In the midst of the chaos, I looked the creature in the eyes and decided to fight him, but during the battle, I also decided that I wanted to learn everything that he would certainly teach me. This is a short story that tells how, interestingly, cancer cured me and taught me what, until then, I had not understood.
