Lives and works in Santiago de Chile. He studied history and journalism at the Universidad Católica de Chile, where he teaches the course “Aesthetic appreciation of youth books”. He worked in newspapers, magazines and on the radio. He won the literary creation grant from the National Council for Culture and the Arts with Cuentos inoxidables and from the Nuevo Periodismo Iberoamericano Foundation with Los chords del mandinga. She was also the winner of the Alimón competition by the Colombian Tragaluz Editores, together with the writer Francisco Montaña, with Nuestro gordo. He has published in France, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Mexico, Venezuela and Spain. His youth novel Ejercicio de supervivência was translated into French.
