Collection: Juraci Dórea

Juraci Dórea Falcão (Feira de Santana, Bahia 1944). Sculptor, painter, designer, photographer, visual programmer. He graduated in architecture from the Federal University of Bahia, UFBA, in 1968. In the 1980s, he started Projeto Terra - aimed at creating large sculptures made of leather and wood, as well as murals, in the backlands of Bahia and was awarded the scholarship Support for the Production of Visual Artists offered by the Ivan Serpa/MEC/Funarte/Inap/Capes Competition, Rio de Janeiro. In 1990, he carried out the Canudos Project, at Teatro Castro Alves and Açude de Cocorobó, in Salvador, in collaboration with Washington Falcão.
