Collection: Perry Nodelman

Perry Nodelman studied Victorian literature and was a professor in the English Department at the University of Winnipeg (where he is now professor emeritus), in Canada, for almost 40 years. Since 1975, he has dedicated himself to children's literature, as a scholar and teacher trainer. His books include Pleasures of Children's Literature (1992, co-authored with professor Mavis Reimer), Words about pictures (1988), The Hidden Adult: Defining Children's Literature (2008), among other works. He was editor of several magazines and published several articles on literature for children and young people.
