Collection: Gláucia Lemos

She is a writer, born in Salvador, Bahia. He graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Salvador (UCSal), and completed a postgraduate degree in Art Criticism at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). He studied music and fine arts. He taught History of Art and Aesthetics at the School of Fine Arts in Maceió, Alagoas. He left law, dedicating himself to literature and journalism. He published essays and reviews in the newspaper A Tarde and Tribuna da Bahia. She debuted, in 1979, with a book of stories illustrated by the author herself, followed by 35 other titles, of which the 21 children's titles projected her as an author of the genre in the national territory with successive reissues, alongside other books of stories, participation in anthologies, essays, novels, children's poems, poems and 4 award-winning novels. Gláucia Lemos is affiliated with the Brazilian Union of Writers (UBE-SP), the Geographic and Historical Institute of Bahia (IGHB) and the Bahia Academy of Letters (ALB). In 2013 he published his book “Marce” by Solisluna Editora.
