Collection: Bel Santos Mayer

Social educator and activist for the cause of books, literature and libraries. Master of Science from the Postgraduate Program in Tourism (EACH/USP), coordinates the Brazilian Institute of Studies and Community Support (IBEAC) and is co-manager of the LiteraSampa Network. He teaches training and has published articles in the areas of Human Rights, Race Relations, Children and Adolescents' Rights and training young readers. He received several awards for his career in community libraries, including: Retratos da Leitura no Brasil (2018); State of São Paulo for the Arts (2019); 67th APCA Award – São Paulo Association of Arts Critics in the Diffusion of Brazilian Literature category; APF Inspiring Person Award (2021) – São Paulo Foundations Association.
